Issues and Observations on 160 KVA Genset Performance

Correct grammatically the following text Subject: 160 KVA Genset  Gas kit was fitted to 160 KVA diesel Genset on 18/8/23 by EM Associates & trail was taken for the same on diesel & duel fuel.  When run only diesel its consumption was 17 liter/ Hr. While on duel fuel i.e. via gas kit (diesel + gas), its diesel consumption was 12.5 liter / Hr.  We are not able to calculate exact amount of gas been used for this as there is no any meter or device to measure the same.  Since we started using 160 KVA Genset on duel fuel it has tripped 4 times due to overheating last month we have observed oil leakage forms its engine head side.  EM Associates visited & suggested work on its engine head & quoted us 1.6 lac for its repair work; time taken would be of 3-4 days.  We also contacted Mr. Biradar from M/s Arihant enterprises (our old team)  As per their observation DG set engine is not running up to the mark with gas kit, causing hunting of the engine while running due to which while in Gens

• A gas kit was fitted to the 160 KVA diesel genset on 18/08/23 by EM Associates, and a trial was conducted for both diesel and dual fuel operation.
• When running on diesel only, its consumption was 17 liters per hour. While on dual fuel (i.e., using the gas kit with diesel and gas), its diesel consumption was 12.5 liters per hour.
• We are unable to calculate the exact amount of gas used, as there is no meter or device to measure it.
• Since we started using the 160 KVA genset on dual fuel, it has tripped four times due to overheating. Last month, we observed oil leakage from the engine head.
• EM Associates visited and suggested work on the engine head, quoting us 1.6 lakh for the repair work, which would take approximately 3-4 days.
• We also contacted Mr. Biradar from M/s Arihant Enterprises (our previous team). According to their observations, the DG set engine is not performing optimally with the gas kit, causing engine hunting while running.
